The new Tribal TX Ultra certainly lives up to its 'grip it and rip it' billing. Unparalleled casting performance is created by the combination of three exclusive SHIMANO carbon technologies: Spiral X Core for torsional rigidity, Hi-Power X for blank twist reduction and a futuristic Carbon Monocoque handle for faster power transfer and improved feel when fish-playing. These technologies also reduce the overall weight of the rod, making it the lightest carp rod in the TX range which results in increase tip speed when used with maximum casting force. Casts in excess of 220 yards have been achieved using the 13' INT model with a 4.5oz (128 g) lead.
